My sister made this beautiful shawl a while ago, and it’s been sitting around, draped over her mannequin and looking pretty without being used for a long while. I once jokingly said: “So give it to me, if you won’t wear it.”
(She doesn’t like green, go figure.)
And today she basically threw it at me and said “Merry Christmas.”
(It was a nicer gesture than it sounds like, really!)
It’s even cooler considering that it was me who got her into crocheting a couple of years ago when she couldn’t do much more than chain stitches. (And I do like green.)

By the way, last year I have knitted a dragon tail scarf with this exact same yarn, the Gründl Four Seasons “Tahiti Batik” (100% polyacrylic).
